Our tea processing center is located in the mist covered mountains in the central highlands of Sri Lanka where the perfect soil and an ideal year-round climate produce the world’s best tea. Every day begins with experienced workers carefully hand-plucking only the finest tea leaves. These leaves are then meticulously processed within 24 hours to guarantee the ultimate in freshness, quality, and flavor.
Our mission is to bring fine pure Ceylon tea to the UK and rest of the world. We strive to offer only the highest quality tea which is grown in Sri Lanka, previously known as Ceylon.

Throughout my childhood, I was fortunate enough to taste a great variety of teas. At the time, I lived in Sri Lanka formerly called Ceylon, the country that is well-known world-famous Ceylon tea. In Sri Lanka, tea was a universal beverage, a warm gesture of welcome shared and extended to every guest who entered the house. By tasting my way through hundreds of harvests and comparing tea gardens in Sri Lanka, I gradually progressed from an aspiring enthusiast to a person with much deeper knowledge of this noble beverage and its source. I transformed my bedroom into a laboratory of expertise in search of the most exquisite tea delights and trained my palate to recognise their infinite variations and flavours. Upon moving to Uk, I began to think about how I bring world-famous Ceylon tea to the UK & the rest of the world tea lovers, and then Ceylon Teabox was born.
